Grandparents/Special Friends Association

Grandparents and special family members comprise the Grandparents/Special Visitors Association at Striar Hebrew Academy. Children correspond with their grandparents or other special family members by sending greetings for Rosh Hashanah and other holidays. The association also gives these special people the opportunity to be involved with the school through periodic newsletters, school events and assemblies, and programs especially designed for grandparents. Family participation that extends beyond the nuclear family is a cornerstone of the educational philosophy of Striar Hebrew Academy.

Annual membership for the Grandparents/Special Friends Association is $36.  For other ways to support your special student(s), click Donation Opportunities.

Save the date: The next annual Torah uMada Expo/Yom Orchim/Special Visitor's Day is scheduled for Thursday evening, May 21, 2009 at the Elementary School and Friday morning, May 22, 2009 at the Preschool.

Of course, grandparents are welcome to visit the school at any time, just let the office know to expect you.
