Preschool

Striar Hebrew Academy’s Preschool, serves Toddlers, Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten students. An integrated secular and Torah education begins at even the youngest grade level. Mitzvot, tefilot (prayers) and the weekly Torah parashah (portion) are a part of everyday activities. Creative play, crafts and other activities are designed to meet children's interests and abilities at each developmental stage. Enriching opportunities, such as cooking and dramatic play, are also offered each day to develop creativity, self-confidence and cooperating skills.

Striar Hebrew Academy is one of only 10 percent of preschools in the country to meet the standards for accreditation by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).  The preschool also holds the Bureau of Jewish Education's Magen HaGan accreditation for its ongoing commitment to excellence in Jewish early-childhood education.

An early drop-off program is available Monday through Friday and an after-school enrichment programs is available Monday through Friday to students in Nursery, Pre-K and Kindergarten.
