Join the PTO! It really shows your support for the PTO and
helps us reach our goal of bringing enriching programming into the school and
purchasing special "wish list" items for the classrooms.
Annual dues for the PTO are $25.
Here is a summary of the PTO’s ongoing fundraisers:

Scrip Program: Gift cards to Shaw's and Stop & Shop
supermarkets are available for purchase at the school. These merchants
then give back 5% of your scrip to the school. In addition, the GLScrip
program offers gift cards to such merchants as Barnes & Nobles, Starbucks,
Marshalls, GAP, etc., many of which may contribute as much as 15% of each
card purchase.

SHAW'S receipts: this easy fund raiser has already earned us
more than $650!!! All you do is bring all your receipts into either office.
We get 1% back from all purchases. Don't forget that you can collect from
friends, relatives, and neighbors too!

Tritown Discount Liquors receipts:
100 Washington St (across from the Butcherie II). Please log your
purchases in the special book at the wine store, as we will receive back 10%
of all purchases!

Butcherie II receipts: Please make sure to put your purchase
receipts in the SHAS pushka-as the Butcherie generously donates a portion of
each purchase to SHAS!

Schoolpop.com:
When you shop online, you can earn money for SHAS! Just go to
schoolpop.com,
designate the Striar Hebrew Academy and then click on one of the many
popular online stores (like L.L. Bean, Land’s End, Amazon, Barnes & Noble,
and the Gap…) and shop! The school will automatically receive up to 30% of
every purchase.

Target stores: When you shop at Target, use your Target store
credit card and Striar Hebrew Academy gets a 1% rebate on every purchase you
make! Just call 1-800-316-6142 to designate Striar Hebrew Academy on your
account.

Shabbat gift bags: $12, available at each office
Other on-going SHAS fundraisers:
Room Parent Program: Each grade/class has a parent who has
volunteered to spear-head class events and improve communication between parents
and administration. Please feel free to call your room parent to help address
any on-going issues within the class or to help organize class activities.
