Health Portal

All SHAS parents/guardians have access to the student health portal where you can view your child’s school nurse visits, upload and download important health forms, and update with the latest health information.  If you are a current SHAS parent/guardian, please make sure you have logged on, filled out all relevant information, and uploaded a recent physical for your child.

To access the portal, please go to www.studentehr.com.

Immunizations

Massachusetts requires all students to be vaccinated in accordance with the Center for Disease Control (CDC) requirements unless there is a documented medical exemption signed. The main regulation that outlines immunization requirements is:
https://www.mass.gov/files/documents/2018/03/12/guidelines-ma-school-requirements.pdf.

Please keep

your children home if:

They have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher. (Their temperature should be normal without fever suppressing medication -- i.e., Tylenol, Motrin -- for 24 hours before returning to school.)

They have had nausea, vomiting or diarrhea within 24 hours.

They have had a contagious cold with yellowish-green discharge, glossy eyes, and/or a persistent cough or sneeze.

They have an undiagnosed rash.

They have a persistent sore throat, as well as any other contagious illness, as outlined by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health regulations and/or the CDC.

More detailed health care procedures can be found in the 2022-2023 SHAS Family Handbook.
