After-school activities

Striar Hebrew Academy offers study hall and an after-school program for students requiring extended hours.

Study Hall (K-5)/ Late Stay (Shorashim)

Study Hall/Late Stay is a service for families requiring after-school supervision for their children. During this program, students can have a snack that they bring from home, do homework, and engage in quiet relaxation/play with other children. Study Hall is available until 6:00 pm Monday - Thursday and 3:00 PM on Fridays. Late Stay dismissal times are per contracted hours until 4:30 PM or 6:00 PM for Shorashim, 6:00 PM for K-5, and 3:00 PM on Fridays. 

Clubs

SHAS offers a variety of interesting and fun activities that expand children's skills and talents and are designed to enrich the child's educational experience.  These after-school clubs are an extension of the school day and participants are expected to follow all school rules in addition to any rules the instructors set forth.
